Spring is here and summer is just around the corner. This warmer weather has the kids running outside to play and swim. Right behind them are their parents, barbeque tools in hand after mowing the lawn and tending the gardens.
This warm weather activity sounds like a lot of fun. However, there are some real tragedies that occur every year because safety precautions are not practiced around the pool and home. Pesticides and lawnmowers, used to keep your lawn and garden beautiful, also present some serious safety concerns for children. And, even though you are cooking outside, this is not the time to be lax with safe food handling practices.
